| IEI Internships (for ages 16-18) enable students to choose a career that interests them - from Archaeology to Law to Strategic Studies - and then be side by side with professionals in that field. Get that college edge and build your résumé.
In our Media & Design Workshops (for ages 15-18), students can delve into fields ranging from Photography to Journalism to Fashion & Design. These hands-on, project-based workshops are held at Cavendish College, and Interns will receive three college credits upon successful completion of the program. Their creations will be posted on YouTube.
The social and cultural activities are equally enriching: from the Tate to tea to theatre, Interns can explore one of the world’s great international cities while making themselves at home at the University of London Residence Halls in the Russell Square neighborhood.
We established Intern Exchange International (IEI) in 1987 as a way to encourage high school students to make an informed career choice. Our 22 years of experience make us the oldest and most experienced Internship programme of this kind, but more importantly, they’ve given us insight into how to create an experience that is worthwhile during the summer, in the college admissions process, and long after.
IEI's mission is to offer an enriching educational and cultural experience that is a bridge between high school and college. Interns gain a deeper sense of responsibility and independence, clarify their career interests, get a real world experience and make lifelong friends.
We hope you’ll join us in London for “A Summer to Remember” in 2009.
Cheerio,
Lynn Ann Weinstein & Nina Miller Glickman, M.Ed. Intern Exchange International Directors
