Agatha Capacchione
Former Medicine Intern Agatha Capacchione graduated from Colgate University with a major in Environmental Biology. This past summer, she worked at the New York Public Interest Research Group. She’s on her way to a career in environmental science and policy. (updated Oct. 2003)
Cameron Levkoff
Former Theatre Intern Cameron Levkoff is still working as an actor and is living in New York. In addition, she recently completed culinary school and trained as a professional pastry chef. She has been working as a food journalist and has also appeared on the Food Network. Recently, she emceed the 2005 National Pastry Team Championship. Cameron is a 2001 graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in drama. (updated Nov. 2005)
Matt Miller
This past spring, Matt Miller graduated from the University of London/SOAS with a master’s degree in Middle East Studies. During the summer, he wrote his dissertation on U.S. foreign policy and Islamists in Iraq. Now, he’s traveling and looking for work in the Middle East. He’s interested in an internationally focused career in either policy, consulting or media work. Matt did his undergraduate work in international relations at Brown. He keeps in touch with Jared Lee. Laura Paley
Laura Paley is coordinator of health education at St. Ann’s School, a private school in Brooklyn Heights. She is creating the first ever health education curriculum for the school. She’s also taking continuing education courses in graphic design. Laura received a degree in women’s studies from Oberlin College. Her favorite IEI memory: “Going to Stonehenge SO early in the morning without showering. They let us inside the ropes and told us not to touch the giant rocks, but we did (even Nina did!)” She recently got back in touch with Daniel Schwartzbaum. (updated Oct. 2003)
Alan Rappeport
| Former IEI RA (for 2 years) Alan Rappeport currently works as a journalist at The Economist in London. He has previously worked at the Financial Times and The Press of Atlantic City (NJ), and has freelanced for The New York Times, The Washington Post and Newsday. Alan graduated from Emory University with a degree in philosophy and journalism and holds master's degrees from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was the 2005 recipient of the Marjorie Deane Financial Journalism Foundation fellowship, awarded by The Economist, and the 2006 Reuters Foundation International News Writing Fellowship (Beirut). Alex Reinlieb

Daniel Schwartzbaum
Daniel Schwartzbaum is a full-time Video Production Specialist at TiVo, Inc. in Alviso, CA. He writes, “My IEI internship was my first exposure to the world of video production. It was eye opening and paved the way for the career that I am in today.” Daniel, who graduated from Emerson College in 2001 with a B.A. in Visual and Media Arts, says his most significant accomplishment since IEI is “marrying my amazing wife on 2/21/06.” (updated Oct. 2007)
Adam Scott
Former Medicine Intern Adam Scott lives in Chicago and is vice president of Kaufman Hall, a healthcare finance company. He writes, “On June 19, 2007, my wife Rachel and I welcomed our firstborn son, Max Robert Scott, into the world. Both mom and Max are doing wonderfully!” (updated Oct. 2007)
