Justin Brown
Justin Brown lives in Narberth, PA and is an associate attorney in the law office of Nancy M. Rice. Justin graduated from the Washington University in 2002, with a B.A. in mathematics and political economy; he earned his JD degree from AU Washington College of Law in 2005. (updated Nov. 2007)
Erin Cohen
Erin Cohen is pursuing her dream of becoming an artist. She is working towards a BFA in graphic design at the University of Miami and considering a career in computer graphics. She writes, “IEI was my first taste of independence. Taking the tube and photographing people and places that I had never seen before was so exciting. I learned a tremendous amount, and I still have my work to prove it.” The former Photography Intern adds, “My Internship helped me learn the basics of photography and the dark room, which have come in use ever since. Emily Cole
| “My IEI experience helped me choose to move to London,” writes Emily Cole from the United Kingdom. She is working as a pre-kindergarten teacher at The Phoenix School. Jenn Falchuk
Former Law Intern Jenn Falchuk now calls Manhattan home. She’s working in the field of marketing but hopes to transition into television. Jenn graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she was a sociology major. (updated Oct. 2003)
Matt Fogel
There’s a lot of excitement in Matt Fogel’s life. He reports that he “just graduated from Yale and is engaged to fellow IEI Intern Jamie Kushner.” He fondly remembers going to the theatre during his summer in London -- but no time for that now, he’s looking for a job! (updated Oct. 2003)
Jenna Klein
Theatre Intern Jenna Klein graduated from Stanford University, with honors, this past spring. She’s happy that she finished her senior thesis in American Studies and is taking some time off to travel. (updated Oct. 2003)
Jamie Nissenbaum Levine
A literacy specialist, Jamie Nissenbaum Levine is married and living in New York City. She is a Focus Instructor at the Winston Preparatory School, where she works one-on-one with students with learning differences. She writes, “My IEI Social Services internship was very rewarding. And it is what I do now – work with students with special needs.” She earned her Master’s degree in Literacy Education at Fordham University after doing her undergraduate work in communications at the University of Maryland. David Reichenberg
David Reichenberg will be graduating from the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University in 2003. He’s applying to law schools and still using his IEI experience for graduate school essays. He was a former Law Intern. (updated Oct. 2003)
Daniel Schwartzbaum
Daniel Schwartzbaum is a television editor in Los Angeles. He’s worked at Spike TV, E!, Entertainment, ABC Family, and WB. A former Video Production Intern, he writes, “I believe that the short video I made at IEI is one of the reasons I got into my school of choice.” That’s Emerson College, where Daniel earned a B.A. in Visual and Media Arts in 2001. Kevin Simmons
Kevin Simmons is taking a break from Princeton University, where he majors in politics, with a minor in Russian studies and environmental science, to spend some time in the former Soviet Union. He spent last summer hitchhiking across Central and Eastern Russia and is now working on a fishing boat out of Vladivostok! He hopes to start a hunting/travel agency, based in Siberia, after graduation. He still keeps in touch with Kate Grossman, Rachel Neumann, Amanda Dennis and Andy Kane. (updated Oct. 2003)
