Sara Chaney
Sara Chaney attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City to pursue her love of acting. Now she’s preparing to transfer to UCLA. She’s also taken acting, speech and movement classes at the American Conservatory Theater to continue with her acting. Her favorite IEI moment was touring the Globe Theatre after seeing Julius Caesar. (updated Oct. 2003)
Blair Cohen
Blair Cohen lives in Dallas, where she’s an event planner -- “mostly I do weddings” -- with Two Design Group. The company offered her the job after she did a six-month internship with them. “My Fashion and Design Internship helped my creativity, which is the most important part of my job.” (updated Oct. 2003)
Seth Cohen
Finance Intern Seth Cohen has stayed in the field; he’s accepted full-time employment at The Blackstone Group, where he was a summer analyst. He’ll be graduating from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in December; he majored in finance and management. “During IEI, I made great friends, and I stay in touch with and see many of them,” he says. Matthew Godoff
After graduating from Rollins College in 2005, Matthew Godoff opened his own consulting firm, Abbott Advisors, LLC, which specializes in environmental solutions for fuel spill prevention and storm water runoff. He lives in Boston and keeps in touch with Andrew Merle, Adrienne Gati and Jess Ingis. (updated Oct. 2007)
Stephanie Harmelin
At Cornell University with a double major in archaeology and theater, Stephanie Harmelin says that her IEI Internship in Archaeology has helped maintain her interest in the subject. She was a counselor at Camp Danbee this summer. She keeps in touch with Sara Kraner. (updated Oct. 2003)

Tess Higgins
Aussie Tess Higgins writes, “I've almost finished my first year as a medical student. I haven't had a whole lot of time for other things, but I think the highlight of my year will be doing a month-long clinical elective in Papua New Guinea in November. It's going to be amazing. I’m still showing photos and telling stories of my wonderful time with IEI as an RA last summer!” Tess, a former Theatre Intern, majored in Spanish, drama and microbiology during her undergraduate studies, also at the University of Queensland. Lisa Silver Levine
This summer, Lisa Silver Levine got married. The former Theatre Intern is a second-grade teacher in East Harlem, NY; she lives in Manhattan. Lisa has kept in touch with Ryan Haaz; they both attended American University, where Lisa earned a B.A. in musical theater. She went on to get a Master’s degree in Childhood Education from Hunter College. (updated Oct. 2007)
Andrew Merle
This summer, Law Intern Andrew Merle was thrilled to work for the Boston Red Sox in media relations. He plans to work for the team after he graduates from Amherst next spring. Andrew, who majored in law, jurisprudence and social thought and psychology, is planning on going to law school. He keeps in touch with Matt Godoff and Adrienne Gati. (updated Oct. 2003)
Mariel O’Brien
Fashion and Design Intern Mariel O’Brien attends the University of Virginia, where she’s majoring in art history. She spent more time in the fashion and design world this summer, when she interned at Anne Klein in Manhattan. (updated Oct. 2003)
Sarah Rosen
Sarah Rosen graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2004. The former Fashion & Design Intern is currently living in Manhattan and working in the field of fashion public relations as a publicist for Zac Posen. (updated Oct. 2006)
Alana Salzberg
Alana Salzberg checked in from Sydney, Australia, where she’s studying abroad until mid-December. She’ll be attending classes and then doing an internship writing for a magazine. Alana is a senior journalism major at Northeastern University. She’s proud to have made dean’s list every semester. Before she headed Down Under, she interned at William Morris Agency, the largest talent and literary agency in the world. She sees Genna Gurkoff all the time. (updated Oct. 2003)

Amy Schwartzbaum is pursuing a career in museum studies. She’s got a good start: She’s working at the American Visionary Museum in Baltimore and going to graduate school to study curating. She was an IEI Special Processes Photography Intern. (updated Oct. 2003)
