Adrienne Cohen
This summer, former Public Relations Intern Adrienne Cohen worked at Free People, a clothing boutique, and spent time with friends at the beach and in West Virginia. The summer after IEI, she attended the Governor's School of International Studies and interned for a research assistant on the H.E.L.P. commission, a group appointed by President Bush to assess U.S. foreign aid policy. Caroline Fires
Former Art Gallery Intern Caroline Fires is a freshman at Emory University. This summer, she worked at a law firm and went to the beach. She’s in contact with Missy Schaff, Casey Sharbaugh, Jenna Lipson and Rebecca Schwartz. (updated Oct. 2007)
Ayushi Gummadi
“My IEI Medicine Internship was one of the reasons I was awarded a scholarship to the University of Southern California to study medicine,” writes freshman Ayushi Gummadi, who is considering also majoring in business. This past summer she worked two jobs -- as a barista and a fulltime nanny. Ayushi says her most memorable Internship moment was performing a biopsy on a 16-pound tumor on her last day at St. Thomas' Hospital. Ashley Kaminoff
During her IEI Community Service/Social Service Internship, Ashley Kaminoff loved working with the children. She writes, “My Internship helped me pick my major and what I want to be doing the rest of my life.” Ashley attends the University of Central Florida, where she is majoring in Exceptional Education. Brett Kantor
After at summer internship at Bear Stearns Private Client Services in New York City, Brett Kantor began his freshman year at Northwestern University. He’s interested in economics. Brett has kept in touch with Charles Lipsius, Matthew Sussman and Allie Garfinkel. (updated Oct. 2007)
Nareg Momdjian
Nareg Momdjian is majoring in pre-journalism at Loyola Marymount University, where he is a freshman. This summer, he traveled to Switzerland, Greece, Egypt and France. One of the highlights of his IEI experience was viewing his short film at the final dinner. Nareg keeps in touch with Missy Schaff, Casey Sharbaugh, Blake Goldberg and Caroline Fires. Hannah Oppenheim
After spending the summer in Europe, Hannah Oppenheim is now a freshman at Cornell University, in the school of Hotel Administration. She writes, “My experience as a chef at The Lanesborough hotel gave me great hands-on experience that I'm now able to use in many different situations. It also gave me a leg up on my fellow classmates.” She’s in contact with Brittany Ouyang, Emily K., Talia Kori, Suzannah Sterten, Kelly Riffer, Eliza Buddenhagen, Alex Greenspan and Erika Meltzer. Pamela Siegel is a freshman in the school of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
