Interns are assigned to respected British attorneys, including prominent Queen's Counsels, leading barristers and solicitors. You'll assist in the preparation of cases for trial, perform independent research and submit written legal briefs. You'll also be able to observe the legal process up close when you attend trials and appeals hearings and shadow the staff in operating law offices and Chambers."I have been shown the full view of a courtroom, been immersed in a case, and have even had the opportunity to have a sitting with a High Court Judge which is an honor. My preceptor, a very distinguished barrister, has taught me so many things, and he is the reason why I will pursue litigation and the law in the United States and possibly internationally."J.
