Read All About It! Cristina Cardenal, Journalism If you have always harbored an interest in journalism but have never taken a class, the Journalism Media & Design Workshop will teach you the basics of journalism, including layout, editing, feature and news writing. Most importantly, you are not at a desk taking notes; you are learning firsthand by producing your own paper, which is the best way to learn. If you do have experience, the programme offers you an opportunity to collect more clips for your portfolio. It also provides you with more practice that will further fine-tune your craft. Its a good learning opportunity, whether you have experience or not. Producing a paper involves a great deal of work, but rest assured that holding your copy is sweet satisfaction. |
