IT Was Amazing! Justin Pollner, IT During my IT Internship at Capital and Regional PLC, I performed technical support tasks and assembled computer systems. I had the unique opportunity to be the sole intern interacting with members of the firm; I was treated as a staff member. This experience not only taught me practical applications but also provided a glimpse of everyday operations in a business environment. On a typical day, my co-workers taught me how to work with their computer systems to help fix problems that the company was experiencing all over Europe and in other locations. My co-workers were very generous and kind to me; whenever there was a task I couldn’t handle or something I needed more instructions with, they never hesitated to help me. I learned about technical processes that I never knew existed, and the tasks I performed fascinated me. This experience was amazing. Working as an IT truly opened me up to a whole different aspect of a business. |
