Living in Harry Potter’s City Diane Rubin, Retail Sales On Friday night I joined my fellow Harry Potter-loving IEI friends to go to the midnight release. As we hurriedly walked to Waterstone’s, we discussed possible endings for the final book and could barely express our excitement. Together, we took our place in the increasingly long line. Amidst the chaos, we all had one goal: to get our hands on the final book. Something as extraordinary as this rarely happens to me, and to be in London for it was the cherry on top. As I read the book, I loved the references to King’s Cross and Tottenham Court Road, seeing as these places are right in my reach. While getting the book was the highlight of the evening, spending the moment with friends made it a truly unforgettable experience. |
