The IEI experience exceeded our expectations in so many ways. IEI is one of the best-managed summer programs we have seen. Your planning, preparations and organization were so careful, thorough and efficient that it was difficult for a parent to find anything to worry about! You had already thought of all of our questions and made it easy to handle the practicalities of international travel and communication and working abroad. A cheery welcome from the RAs at Heathrow quickly put our son Ben at ease and allowed me to leave him with added reassurance that he was in good hands.

AOC Archaeology gave Ben a very positive work experience. He was offered a variety of interesting work and quickly felt like a welcome contributor on their team. He not only learned a lot about his chosen field of archaeology, but also learned invaluable lessons about jobs, teamwork, commuting, and about the challenges of balancing all this with a full calendar of exciting social events.

IEI's combination of work experience and fun, summer camp-like social life is ideal for these in-between teens. Ben was able to enjoy his newfound responsibilities and independence all the more because he had friends around to share everything with and well-trained RAs to turn to when he needed help.
