Summer Internships & Career Exploration in London for High School Students : IEI Safety and Supervision

Supervision
We pride ourselves on always having appropriate supervision for our Interns. Our program is one of the few in which a Director lives with the students. All IEI staff members live in the dorms with the Interns and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Students are given the privileges and freedoms appropriate for young, responsible adults within established boundaries.

The Staff
Program Directors Lynn Ann Weinstein and Nina M. Glickman, M.Ed. established Intern Exchange International in 1987 as a way to encourage high school students to make an informed career choice. The sisters and business partners have personally supervised the company’s growth and development ever since.

The summer staff is knowledgeable and mature. The Dorm Leader, who has experience working with teens, serves as a liaison between the students, Resident Assistants (RAs) and Directors. The Resident Assistants are experienced public and private school teachers. They assume responsibility for a group of students and provide support, encouragement and guidance.

IEI is affiliated with experienced physicians who are available to our Interns and on call 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency.
